Ingredients (for 10 pcs. approx.)
250gr. Wheat flour
12gr. Fresh yeast
125ml. Water
25ml. Olive oil
Pinch of salt
Preparation
Heat the water with the yeast in the microwave, about 15 seconds.
Dissolve the yeast in the water with a fork.
Add the flour little by little, adding also the salt.
Add the oil and the rest of the flour.
Knead until the dough is smooth, form a ball and put it in a bowl with olive oil tightly covered for about 45 minutes.
Make balls of about 40gr.
Flatten them, give them a round shape and make a hole in the center.
Fry with sunflower oil on both sides and let them drain the excess oil on a plate with kitchen paper.
Coquetas are very versatile, you can mix them with both sweet and savory. Enjoy them!
